Extra-Curricular Program

SIB School of Language has found that students of all ages and grades need more than the regular classroom curriculum they learn in their schools. The need to apply their skills is very important and SIB School of Language has excellent programs addressing all the English skill applications by Extra-Curricular studies. These studies are provided in the comfort of the student’s home or even better – in their school following the end of classes.

The Extra-Curricular program eliminates the extra travel and expense in going to an English class at another location, and utilizes the student’s time more efficiently and effectively. Our programs address all ages, grades (including University) and proficiency levels that will meet the requirements to improve all four English skills.

If you want private study or want to see SIB School Extra-Curricular programs in your child’s school, please call us or contact us at marketing@sibschool.com for an appointment.

Elementary Grades 1 to 6

SuperKids is a six-level course for elementary school children learning English as a Foreign Language (EFL). No particular English teaching methodology works for all children in all classes; therefore, techniques from various approaches are used in this curriculum.

SuperKids systematically progresses through the four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing with each skill formally introduced and then practiced. The emphasis is on listening and speaking so that children can immediately begin communicating orally in English.

CDs give maximum exposure to native speaker competence. Children will hear and respond receptively before being required to produce it, that is, they listen, and then speak.

Learning is made enjoyable through games and task-based activities. SuperKids aims to help children develop a positive attitude towards learning English so that they can understand and use the language in their daily lives.

Each student will utilize a colorful Student Book and Activity Book that follow a storyline with lively, child characters to stimulate student interest and provide a sense of continuity. Each level has nine theme-based units with colorful double-page spreads, in addition to fun songs and chants to help children learn through singing and movement.

Teachers are extensively trained by SIB School of Language to follow the SuperKids Teacher’s Guide for each level with the aim of maintaining a high quality of standard teaching practice that will benefit all the children.
